Bob Gamble Sr. started Seacoast in 1979 in Magnolia, Massachusetts. His goal was to outfit people who made their living on the ocean.
He sold foul weather gear and accessories in his retail store, then started distributing up and down the New England coast from his iconic blue truck.

Bob Gamble Jr. grew up working at the retail store and continues the Seacoast business in memory of his father, who passed away in November 2017.
Today, Bob Jr. sells lobster bands and other marine products, serving many of the same customers who have supported Seacoast from the start.
